Private Authentication
Protecting Privacy Without Using or Retaining Images
Our solution avoids privacy pitfalls by completing the facial authentication process without retaining or storing any images that could be used to identify an individual. The Rock creates a biometric facial template that is unique to each data subject. Only this facial template is stored to authenticate the user and the facial template cannot be reverse-engineered or otherwise reconstructed to recreate a user’s image.

We encrypt all digital facial templates using AES-256, the highest level of encryption available today. Our system offers an “auto delete” function to remove users (and their data) who have not accessed the system during a defined timeframe.

The Alcatraz AI solution collects the badge ID from your current Access Control System (ACS), but does not capture your name, gender, job title or any other personally identifiable information (PII).
